Study Your Bible

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the man of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The best way we can be prepared for trials and persecution is by seriously studying and learning the Word of God.

And the right attitude to Bible study:

First, let us approach the Bible with the desire to see the goodness and loving-kindness of God and understand how “wide and long and high and deep” is His love for us. Let His love show us His supply for our own need before we learn to help others.

Second, let us approach the Bible with humility. Let us study the Bible and discover what God has said. Bible study is meant to transform us every day.

Third, let us memorize God’s Word every day.

Without God, You Can Do Nothing

I am the vine; you are the branches.
If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.
(John 15:5)

Christians are loved by God. God has given them life. He will bless them in their walk with Him.

Christians have died with Christ in God. They live a life of self-sacrifice and others-centeredness.

God will bless Christians. They will bear much fruit. They will be blessed in their ministries to the people they love and care.

With God, we will bear much fruit.

Without God, we can do nothing.

There is no fear in love.

Perfect love drives out fear.

We are to share God’s Word with those in need.

God will protect us.

With God, we will bear much fruit.

Christians are happy people.

They can continue to sing and give praises to God even when death is so near.

When death is near, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Living Lord, will give us courage and strength.

Let us walk in the power of the living Lord and not in our own strength or courage.

Oh Lord, help me realize that You are my sufficiency.
Without You, I can do nothing.
